Educational Details

Earning his degree in finance at the University of Iowa, Eric entered the insurance industry in 1985.

He earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from the American College.

Career & Achievements

  • Eric is a recognized speaker and expert on 1035 exchanges as well as Group Disability Insurance in Chicago.
  • He was the keynote speaker at The Financial Planning Association of IL and has also served as an expert witness for Life Insurance Litigation.
  • He is the author of several articles, including ‘Under the Radar’ and ‘Reduce those Life Insurance Premiums with a Tax Free Exchange.’
  • Long active in the community, he is the trustee of The Glencoe Police Pension Fund, past assistant district governor of Rotary District 6440, and past-president of the Winnetka- Northfield Rotary.
  • Eric also served on the Board of Directors of The North Shore Center for Performing Arts Foundation for eight years, the Board, and as an officer of The Standard Club for six years and Jewish Council for Youth Services for 14 years.
